If you have to take out multiple seasons, it proves your argument is retard phaggot bullshite.
Look here, you dumb count.
822 all time wins, good for 12th nationally.

For those of us not involved it's just college football tabloid material.

Make a 12 team playoff with BK? Absolutely UGA would.

absolutely fricking not...
couldnt even get to the big dance with mark richt.

LSU has won 3 nattys this century. That’s on par with Ohio State and trails only Bama during the same period.
LSU owes 2 of those to Saban. One near the end of his tenure, one 3 years after he left when his last two recruiting classes were juniors and seniors.
Outside of 2000-2008, the Saban years, LSU has won 1 national championship in the last 65 years.
Unless LSU hits a homerun with an all time elite coach like Saban they will revert back to an 8-4 program with an occasional good season.
We are watching it happen in real time.

Hahahaha. Mark Richt would’ve had multiple teams make a four team playoff and even more make a 12 team playoff. You’re hilarious.

If this is invalidating... the none of bama's championships count either.
hur dur... if you remove LSU's national championships, then they would have no national championships

Mark Richt won two SEC Championships. The following Mark Richt teams would’ve made a 12 team playoff:
2002, 2003, 2004 2005, 2007, 2012. And maybe 2011.

Assuming that a 10-2 regular season assures an SEC team of making the 12 team playoff, Richt would have made the playoffs 6 times. Georgia very likely would have won it all in 2002. Instead they were left out of the BCS and finished 13-1, ranked number 3.
Brian Kelly was a more accomplished coach than Mark Richt, and he couldn’t make the 12 team playoff at LSU. What does that say about LSU?

It’s bizarre how many threads about Kiffin you’ve started, as a UGA fan.

I am not saying that any of LSU’s titles don’t count. I am pointing out that this myth of LSU greatness is based on an 8 year span that was orchestrated by Nick Saban. Outside of that, they are like Auburn, inconsistent as hell and dependent upon the occasional all time great player to take them to the next level.

Which teams have done better besides alabama?
Keep in mind LSU was stuck in a division with bama the entire time.

You think UGA would make the playoffs with Brian Kelly?
I think Brian Kelly would have certainly taken Georgia and Alabama to a 12 team playoff with 4 seasons to try. He took Notre Dame there, and Georgia and Alabama are both more talented programs than Notre Dame.

Since NIL and the transfer portal changed the game the following programs have outperformed LSU.
Alabama
Ohio State
Georgia
Oregon
Michigan
Texas
Tennessee
Indiana
Penn State
Clemson
Washington
Notre Dame

I think for us it has simply morphed into being held for ransom at this point.
I think that sums it up. And I'm not saying out of any love of Kiffin, but this isn't entirely his fault. There is no way in hell he does this at this point the season if it weren't for the portal window and to lesser extent, recruit signing date.
It is rare that I feel any sympathy for Ole Miss, but it really sucks. Something has to be done with the portal. Its existence in general is changing the entire sport, if not out right ruining the game as a whole, and its timing is now potentially ruining seasons for teams.

The domino effect starts and the new money standard gets set.

Ohio State
Georgia
Clemson
It is going to be tough for you to win this argument that LSU is one of the current great modern programs seeing as how LSU has made the college football playoffs one time. Ever. Tied with the likes of Cincinnati, Arizona State, SMU, and Boise State.
