Tennessee is winning this game the talent and coaching
OU has more talent than TN, and has recruited better for a long time. Also Venables and Heupel both haven’t won shite yet and have similar records.

if in hand, Elko is running the 2nd and 3rd teams guys out there. I actually think he’s doing that on purpose to give them as much game time he can in case they need to step in.
It's a smart move

Because it's d!ickheads like you that think runs this place outside of LSU Tigers posters.

I think that UT being able to play a lot of their depth in the first 3 games is mostly a positive, as it gave the backups live game reps and hopefully confidence as well. It will be an environment like none that Nico has had to deal with so far. I like everything I've seen about his mindset so far, but you never know how someone is going to perform until you see it.
If UT can run the ball successfully, I think it will be really difficult for OU to beat them. I think both defenses are really good, and while the jury is still out on UT's secondary IMO, their front 7 is as good as I can remember in a long time.
I like the Vols chances and am cautiously optimistic, but I've been a fan too long to take anything for granted.
BTW it won't be 96° at night, and I don't think fatigue will be a factor for the Vols. I've been wrong before though.

You're about to find out your BIG XII talent isn't suitable for SEC play.

The talent composite and blue chip ratio doesn’t lie my guy. OU has more talent top to bottom by quite a bit. Better hope the OL is horrible because OU has the horses to play with anybody.

Maybe in the BIG XII.
The way you guys played against Houston and Tulane says otherwise.

I sure enjoyed the "SEC play" in 2014 and 2015 in your house.
"3rd down for what!!"

Clemson and A&M both have higher talent composite/blue chip ratios than OU, and Notre Dame, Florida and Florida State are comparable/close to OU.
Florida's talent composite is actually the closest to OU, with Florida slightly higher.
I don't know how useful those metrics are at predicting success.

Not sure what you are looking at but 247 is the only industry standard for both metrics.
OU has the 6th highest blue chip ratio in the country and considerably higher than Florida. Talent composite is top 8 LSU very close to OU, Florida isn’t that close to either.

I meant to complete that sentence "with Florida slightly higher in the player average." My bad.
247 talent composite has Florida at 90.09 average, while OU is at 90.07 average per player.
Would you argue that Florida has the horses to run with anyone?
Or how about Notre Dame, with a higher blue chip ratio, higher player average and higher total points, per 247? Their horses couldn't hang with NIU.

Notre Dame was beaten up from playing America's Team the week before.

I guess playing the Dallas Cowboys as a college team takes a toll.

Not true. I looked on 247 bc they have the scholarship distribution, but some missing players. For example on defense, the front 7 for Tennessee has more blue chippers than OU, and the OU secondary has more blue chippers than Tennessee. And some of the blue chippers in some positions are made up of true freshmen. You got to see how the blue chip ratio is built and and distributed.
If recruiting ranking win the game, on paper paper UT’s DL and LBers > OU, but OU corners and safeties > Tennessee. Then you look at the total defense ranking last year, and this. And last glance at draft eligible talent and where they probably go. Thank goodness I stopped sports gambling 5 years ago bc it was time consuming predicting games.

Based on their schedules, I don’t know if your right about this part or wrong. Or both. If OU had their starters in all game, I feel like that means they were in a close one or closed it out late.
Rumor is they went bland and had many starters out. We’ll find out Sun. Not sure all 8 are back so likely Tenner pulls out a major road win.
