No shite man. They're setting themselves up for ridicule worse than last year, and that's saying something.

Nah, that just means State will win next year. For sure this time, though. Foreal. No joke.

Honestly, I don't think we know enough about either team to be confident either way. That won't stop me from grinding but that's #realtalk.

This, which is why I'm skeptical.

Disastrous is a bit of a stretch but losing at home and favored would tarnish the shine some.

Both QBs are huge question marks, the thing that makes me more confident than last year is the fact that it's in Starkville.

Freshman in the two deep is never good on the line, ever. Never ever. Yeah there might be an exception but they have too many

Might four 5*'s and three 4*'s, one of which the top center in the country and Freshman all-SEC qualify as an exception?

Auburn's OLine is FAR superior to State's. Y'all do have a pretty good D Line though so that should be an interesting match up. I fully expect Auburn's DT's to struggle to stop the run. Auburn's DE's though are going to light up Russell. I would not be surprised at all to see 7+sacks.

You are right though...State has a better secondary and better LB's.

Scary, scary game. This is the kind of game that starts a tailspin season that will be felt for years to come. If we lose this game, we lose recruits because of it IMO. There is nothing more embarrassing than losing to State...except maybe LA-Monroe.

I get a little weary with his rhetoric but he has the excitement up here like I have never experienced. He can be a little goofy but by George - he is our goofy and will take what we are seeing compared to the 8 years or so before he got here.

I don't think I have seen anyone on here mentioning this, but Dak Prescott is supposed to play this game too. Y'all are basically preparing for two offenses. If we aren't able to pass, Dak will come in and run some option and play action. Just letting y'all know. Keep that in mind. Should be pretty interesting. But no one really knows how much he will play. There are a lot of question marks about how both offenses will attack. Both sides need to realize that.

Pretty much how I feel.

However, I suspect the board will lose either way.

EXACTLY the same situation with Freeze. Except it's his first year and comparing the past TWO years.

And our secondary is stacked. If we get passed on a lot, our coaches need to take a big look in the mirror.
