I guess that's a decent attempt of a troll but it's bullshite in the extreme. If winning the SEC, winning the Rose bowl and taking the national championship game to overtime is not the signs of a good coach I don't know what is

I saw a HC acting like a position coach leaving all the significant gameday decisions to someone else. It worked until the Championship Game and then it didn't. And unless Kirby learns how to be a visionary leader and Gameday Coach he'll keep getting outcoached

You saw a ballgame go to overtime and Alabama to their credit made one more play to win it. The rest is bullshite speculation on your part, totally useless

You saw the same game I saw. When did Kirby have time to make strategic well thought out decisions or give Chaney sage advice??????? He didn't. He was too busy coaching individual players to zig instead of zag every single play of the game. That doesn't leave any time to think ahead or coach the most important aspect of the game: coaching his coaches to follow his strategic vision in real time to changing events on the field.

Sage advice to Chaney would be GTFO of Athens. Sony Michel was killing Bama but he kept feeding it to Chubb who did nothing all night.

My biggest problem with Kirby at Alabama his Defense was disorganized and the players were often subbing late, always looking to the sideline when the ball was being snapped and it looked like a Chinese fire drill. Pruitt seemed much more organized.

Being in the East Kirby is going to win ballgames until Florida and Tennessee can get it together.

Kirby just lead Georgia to by far their most successful season in close to 40 years, in his second year as a head coach.
Alot of coaches peak in year 2. Let's see what he does in year 3 and 4 minus Richt's players.

This is just a dumb take. Kirby won the SEC in his second year.
