Any school that goes by the name of Tech has to a pretty big turnoff to potential recruits. I bet Georgia Tech would be getting a lot more top recruits if they changed their name to the University of Atlanta.

Not to mention the fact that we're not named after a state. I mean, no one's gonna question what state the University of Alabama is in, or the University of Georgia. But how many people actually know that Notre Dame is in Indiana?

Better idea would be to run an offense that kids want to play in...but ya, i can be on board with your point.

hmmm, I went to Auburn and I have never met anyone that said they were ashamed that Auburn was in Alabama.

Having lived in/around Auburn my whole life, I can assure you there are lots of people that wish we weren't in Alabama. Beulah is an excellent example of why.

Well, as I have said, I have never met anyone that said that. Sounds like those people should move and stop bitching, lol. It's like the people that say this country sucks and they hate it but choose to stay in this country. If they are better than the state of Alabama then they should leave it and pull for another team instead of talk shiz. I don't get it but that is just me.
