Maybe it should have been. You couldn't score a point in NO when you actually got to play there.

Quite frankly, the SECCG should never cross west of the Mississippi.

I'd have no problem with it rotating amongst big cities in the South (Atlanta, New Orleans, Nashville, Dallas, etc.)

One advantage Atlanta has is a somewhat central location and it's very easy to get flights in/out of.

I'm detecting an admirable sense of solidarity on this topic from the Georgia folks.

Oh good, New Orleans is safe by half a mile.

Little Rock actually makes plenty of sense. All but I think 2 games at Arky since they became SEC have been in Little Rock. And LSU hasn't played in COMO yet.

Well things worked out pretty well for us the last time we played for a title in NO.

Cause you do that and you'll lose ATL to the ACC and it's already very successful in ATL. There is also something to say about continuity

I'm not reading 12+pages of garbage, but if there is any logic to why this is it. They leave Atlanta the ACC will definitely move in and the SEC could lose its foothold. The SECCG could possibly fade into oblivion just like the other CGs.

I'd imagine every metro airport in SEC country has direct flights into Atl, NOLA, Nashville, and Dallas.

Yeah.

I wouldn't go that far, though. All 4 of those cities above are great for big-game atmospheres.
