Definitely constitutes the armpit of the country but it's their armpit & they want it to stay that way

I want to say they were leery of giving it to one city too many times consecutively.

If you look at the future hosting sites it is literally:

2019 Bridgestone Arena (Nashville)
2020 Bridgestone Arena (Nashville)
2021 Bridgestone Arena (Nashville)

2022 Amelie Arena (Tampa)

2023 Bridgestone Arena (Nashville)
2024 Bridgestone Arena (Nashville)
2025 Bridgestone Arena (Nashville)

It's interesting how many of those top shitholes are in the traditional SEC footprint.

I’d be nervous too if I knew I had to play MPJ in his 2nd Gabe back with fresh legs in a neutral court game.

And who is numero uno on that list? None other than one of the crown jewels of the south to host the tourney, Memphis!

Do y'all ever leave the US of A?

People are complaining about safety of St Louis or New Orleans?
Get out and live. Stay out of the crap holes, don't act like country-come-to-town and paint a big target on your back.
Or stay at home and wear your jersey on the couch

I think I can explain this in a real simple way. Yes, St louis does have some shite hole parts. But if you plan on coming to st louis, you have to try, go way out of your way, and refuse to turn around, to end up in these parts.

Ive lived in st louis for 28 years. I have never been to North city, or east st louis.

Stay south of Washington ave, and stay on this side of the river. Thats it. not hard.

Would they though?

Although I went last year to the games at the Garden in early November (that underarmour tourney) and Auburn had a very strong (and somewhat shocking) showing.

Good question, Missouri is not or will never be SEC country.

Conference made a mistake 7 years ago and hasn't fixed it yet. Missouri doesn't fit in the SEC and in the SEC East especially. Nothing personal, Mizzou is just a better fit for the Big 12 or Big 10.

Pipe down and keep sending the checks. We could care less about fitting in.

making more money was always the goal. guess what, it did just that. YOU think it was a mistake, your conference LEADERS dont.
