Combining Q3/4 is bad form.

ETA: Pitt's NET has dropped 11 points since the previous ranking. So, I'm not so sure that they are 'safely' in.

Because Team B had two GLARING bad losses, both to teams from Louisiana? That's my guess

And when they lost to LSU

That loss was bad, but not their worst. Vandy was 6-6 before conference play began, and had some ugly losses in there--Grambling was the worst.

Don't misunderstand-- I think Vanderbilt is a strong team this year and they're playing, along with A&M, the best basketball in the conference at this point in time. And I want them to be in the tourney-- their RPI and KenPom are both rising meteorically, and a win v Kentucky and Calipari will escort them in the tourney tonight IMO

It’s seems like momentum is no longer part of the equations- but it should be. We are one of the hottest teams in the nation right now. Extremely impressed with how Stack and players turned the season around. Beating LSU last night should have negated that earlier loss a bit. What is crazy is how our NET basically hasn’t moved even as we have gone 10-1. Stupid. Hope we get in. If we win tonight, we have to be in. Appreciate anyone that wants to wish us well tonight.

Definitely. Two wins over Kentucky are hard to deny when it comes to the selection process. You'll be in, for sure.

Vandy has a really impressive resume since conference play began. Wins over Kentucky, Tennessee, Auburn, Florida (x2), Miss St, Arkansas, and now LSU!
