Why is Saban so interested in stopping schools from doing what he was doing?

He was doing pay for play years before it became legal and benefitted from being the only one allowed to do it. Now that it’s legal for all, he is actively working towards stopping it. Why?

Because Alabama has to have a competitive advantage, and they can’t handle it if everyone is on an even playing field.

He doesn't want to be exposed as not the GOAT coach, but the GOAT cheater.

Then you have a Bammer shite stain (captdalton) trying to blame Tennessee in another thread this morning..

If you have any proof you should have gone to the NCAA. Of course no one in this thread has any proof. Without proof it is a baseless accusation. e e claiming you are a child molester and saying I don't have any proof but I just know it's true (I don't actually believe you are.)

Y'all are just a bunch of sore losers.

Mark Emmert, Saban's butt buddy, was NCAA president and did not allow anyone to look at Nick.

Go to Facebook. Bammer recruits posted pics of their new cars and wads of cash the day after they signed.

I guess we shouldn't believe our lying eyes?

and have Mike Slive and Mark Emmert run cover for your program paying players, doing NIL deals with Tom Albetar or the endless streams of cars, rims, clothes and money?

Saban obsession refers to the continued, often fervent, interest and discussion surrounding Nick Saban, particularly among LSU fans, even after he left the program to coach at Alabama. This interest stems from his success at LSU, where he led the team to a national championship, and the fact that he later achieved even greater success at Alabama. While some LSU fans may harbor resentment towards him for leaving, others acknowledge his accomplishments and potential impact on the program's future if he had remained

It's funny, people who start threads like this fail to realize that some of us actually know and have known for decades players, coaches, and boosters from other programs.

In my experience (anecdotally of course), it's extremely ironic to see which fanbases usually parrot rhetoric about "other" teams cheating the loudest.

He's not even a coach anymore, why would he give a shite about NIL and the transfer portal on a personal level? Everyone hates the current landscape of college sports for obvious reasons, why would anyone be against him trying to fix it?

Nick Saban and Alabama created the current landscape. They have done enough damage.
