Mad? nah. I live in Ala. No matter who you pull for, anyone who follows CFB is seeing one of the all time greats in action.
And I read on a blog where Bama had 14 players in 12 states.Sorry for the error.

Mike Shula won 10 games, and Coach Kines coached a bowl game. One bowl game.

Who is the last coach that DIDN'T win 10 games at Alabama... aside from Mike Price?

Because everyone already knew he was a national championship caliber coach. That's how he was able to start recruiting at such a ridiculous level so quickly. That's really all there is to it.

I remember in an interview he was talking about how thankful he was that the people who hired him at Alabama could see that he was a good coach despite his record at other places.

Proves how truly shitty you have to be to consistently frick up at Alabama, and why they thought getting bargain coaches would work. frick that shite.

Mike Price was hot commodity when he was hired. His post Destiny career is not indictive of what he did @ Washington State

I have a family member who still bemoans the fact that his stint at Alabama coincided exactly with the Ears years. I don't think he's ever gotten over it.

So was Coach Fran. Seems like I've heard an urban legend that Curley Hallman was pretty hot when he was hired too. That's a good off season thread.
