CFB Playoff Committee vastly underrated Mississippi State. We just scored the most points that Arkansas has allowed all season.

Not sure what else this evil committee needs to see!

They’ve got to fill out the 25 somehow. May as well choose a team with a Canadian running back for dem Canadian viewers.

Why does the CFP even rank beyond 1-4 since that is their mission statement?

Blind resume: Put three of these teams in 23, 24 and 25.

Team 1: 6-3 record, losses to #12, a 5-3 team and a 3-5 team. Win over #16.

Team 2: 7-1 record. Only loss was to #21.

Team 3: 8-1 record. Only loss was to #21.

Team 4: 7-1 record. Only loss was to a 4-4 team.

Team 5: 7-2 record. Losses were to #20 and a 6-3 team.

Team 6: 7-2 record. Losses were to #1 and a 4-4 team.

Team 7: 5-3 record. Losses were to #9, #2 and a 4-4 team.

Team 8: 6-3 record. Losses were to #3, #5 and #11.

Well we know team #8 has 3 loses and has looked really bad in all of their wins including against Arky and Miss State, who are two of the worst teams in the country. They did look good against UTSA, Lamar and Texas State though, so maybe I'm being unfair.

Insufficient data.

Quality wins?

Strength of record?

Should have been other 6-3 teams included... not just them.

Does anyone actually think that Texas or Texas A&M wouldn't also be 7-1 or even undefeated if they played the schedules of Boise State, Navy, Memphis, or SMU?

All those mid-majors ranked at the bottom is a joke. Cincinnati and Memphis, yes. Those others shouldn't be in the Top 30.

Can you imagine a system where no one looked at opinion polls anymore, but instead just looked at conference standings?

Objectivity > subjectivity.

No, team 4 is San Diego State who is ranked in the coaches and AP polls.

SMU blew out TCU, who beat t.u. by 10, so there's that...
