Is it because Freeman wasn't the last SEC Coach to defeat Nick Saban? ...and Go Irish! ND football program has passed up Alabama's. It's interesting to see Alabama fans happy about that.

He's a likable guy. I can't stand Notre Dame but it's hard to not root for him

You are right. I despised ND up until some point this year. Mostly because of Freeman, but also Riley Leonard. They are both very likeable and hard to root against.
