Texans and Louisianans actually have a lot in common.
-They wear cowboy hats and boots
-Dance the two step (even though -Texans are afraid to shake their hips)
-Take pride in cooking, which they usually do outdoors, for large groups of people.
-They're West of the Mississippi (or at least mostly)
-proud, and often brutally honest
-religious
-conservative
They're basically the same people, except one usually has a stick up their arse. It's French vs Czech rednecks. They're natural rivals.

Never gave 2 shits about Tejas growing up, thought Houston was the ugliest city I had ever driven through, couldn't imagine living there. Transferred to Houston 3 years ago, has some nice museums hotter than BR with worse drivers ( which is mind boggling ).. Will not retire here...notice most Houstonians " get the fk out" of town on weekends.. And I never think about A&M other than game day.

Normally when a fan of a school says something about LSU I don't like I attack that programs history and insult them...I am drawing a blank however on anything Mizzou has ever accomplished.

ATM seems pretty mellow to me. I know they do weird things to [with] themselves, but overall they seemed level headed when dealing with opponents
