WTF?

Did I miss something? LSU fans love the UF game.

Because a handful of LSU fans complain? Goes to show you don't have a clue what you are talking about.

No one is afraid, the question is why do we get a harder permanent eastern opponent than "other" western teams. You guys should wonder the same thing, BTW.

See what I mean.

I guess everyone should play Florida. Sounds like a plan to me. Just eliminate all Florida's non-conference games and let them play everyone from the west.

I will say I personally want a 10 game SEC schedule. DO NOT WANT 9 game schedule. I want to keep the UF game, but I do want to play the other teams more regularly. The reason I don't want a 9 game schedule is due to difference in home and away games. Now would Bama be willing to play 10 SEC games. That is the question.

Tennessee was hardly a doormat when they were handing out those opponents. From the mid-60s until 6-7 years ago they were one of the top programs in the country. They had 26 seasons with 9+ wins, two national titles and eight conference titles in that time. From 1993 to 2006, they went 11-3 against Bama.

So please, stop acting like this was done to spite LSU.

Doesn't matter. SEC office is in Birmingham.

if only our whining, crying and pathetic fanbase could ever amount to the greatness of the Gumps fanbase.

If we try, maybe we can be so great to celebrate killing trees and tea-bagging other fans. If only we were such great fans

What's funny is that when those matchups were handed out people were probably bitching that Florida got a gimme against LSU every year.

I will never understand how LSU plays Florida every year and still gets no credit for playing Florida every year.

LSU gets called a coward by teams playing a coward's schedule. Makes sense.

Let me ask you motherfrickers a question. When does LSU have an easy schedule?

Yeah, that's what I thought.

In that case, why should any team have to play Florida. The reality is that y'all wouldn't bitch if Tennessee was playing like they did in the 90's. it's not about "making it fair for the conference," it's a reason to bitch about Bama

I never said I was afraid. I think it is that the other teams don't play a team the caliber of UF like lsu does every year. UF has been on a great streak the last 20 plus years.

Always seemed to be a really good hard fought game every year to me. Never saw this "fear" you speak of.

I was told the reason fla. wants LSU every year is because it is one game they know they can sellout. So like a lot of things in life it is about money.

hey dumbass the LSU fans that are whining are not whining about playing florida they are whining about bama getting not one but TWO cakewalks in the east while LSU gets TWO heavyweights in the east. if you don't think that can EASILY be the determinant in the race for the west title you are ignorant. it would be like UF playing LSU and Bama every year while UGA plays MSU and (insert weak west team here). you better believe it can be the difference, esp when you consider that after one of the sec "sloberknocker" games, both teams have more injuries and emotional letdowns. did you see bama lose to a&m last year? followed the LSU game and bama was flat and beat up. so i hope you come to baton rouge this year and watch your team get the shite knocked out of them by teh Tigers.

I love the Florida game, or any game of substance when it comes to playing the East. I think what's happening is that LSU's schedule is tougher when it comes to the Eastern teams than say Bama's. I'd rather that, but some would prefer Tenn and KY over Ga and Fla. LSU has a tough schedule every year, no whining fr this guy.
