Is he really any better than EJ Manuel?
He has progressed a lot since his Freshman year, especially as a passer, but I don't think many Pro scouts see his arm talent as being anything special.
I think he'll be in the league a long time as a backup and his athleticism will give him Taysom Hill type options if he gets in the right system.

Because he's a dual threat qb and makes inaccurate passes over 20 yds. It's fricking Oklahoma they have an even easier schedule than Bama does.

If he’s not it’s because he will be seen as a product of the system that OU runs. We loved Jalen and wish Saban had found a way to keep both but that’s not going to happen in today’s CFB.

This guy was saying the same shite before Oklahoma played their first conference game and said the exact same thing when Mahomes and Baker has like 1800 yard total offense In one game..... oops then you realize hey maybe these Big 12 qbs and especially the ones coached by Riley can torch any defense. Heck Oklahoma might have a better defense than 3/4 of the sec.

Jalen doesn't make some of the key throws NFL qbs have to make plus he can't read a half decent defense.
