You’re really proud you collected a bunch of random football information. I don’t care to waste hours and days and weeks of my life doing that.
I look forward to your daily thread where people question why anyone cares.
Why does anybody care about anything posted on a sports message board? Or sports in general? Yet, here we all are.
This is one way of admitting defeat I guess, albeit less than honorable. Taking the “who cares” route.

Honest answer? Because they just aren't that good. Not hard to figure out and would have saved you the headache of pouring time into trying to figure this out.
7 of those losses are to LSU and 9 of those losses are to Texas. Thats almost 20% of the losses right there.
I almost feel bad for them. They ran away from an abusive father, and made sure to block any potential future games, only to realize that their adopted father is just as ruthless. The sad life of an orphan boy.
I want to feel sorry for them but I can't

Coaching. Plain and simple. Jimbo will contend for the west before his third year.

It’s pretty obvious that how we performed within whatever segment of time you decide to analyze is completely indicative of how we will perform in the future. Your analytics are solid and immune to criticism. The fact that you keep a spreadsheet with all of this data is not a sign of any obsession on your part whatsoever.

None of that has any relevance to what I posted. At this point I don’t think anyone knows what you’re talking about.

LSU is so much better to us than Texas was.
When Texas was beating us on their field they also tried to crush our souls by pretending that the game didn’t mean anything to them. And it would play out that way nationally- us beating Vince Young didn’t stop them.
Meanwhile despite winning every game in the SEC era LSU was willing to move the game around for us, downgrade their Arky rivalry for us, make two major head coaching decisions because of our game, and put a huge focus on what we are doing as a program.
It’s nice to feel loved finally frankly. LSU is like the step dad that is a better parent than our real dad.

To be honest, I’m not sure what you’re talking about anymore either.
You asked me to post more numbers, among other requests. Originally I obliged. But you kept asking for the same thing, even after I answered you in multiple different ways.
I gave you the top 16
I broke it all down into P5 & non-P5 during each range of months (Aug-Sept as well as Oct-Jan). I even gave you where A&M ranked in the SEC in each breakout. No problems here yet....
I then gave you every SEC school’s record against teams with 7+ wins during Oct-Jan, showing where A&M ranked.
This is the point where my frustration in fetching the same stats that I’ve already posted for you, set in.
Not attempting to be mean spirited, but I posted a ton of numbers for you and you just continued asking for seemingly the same things over and over.
I have no issues with pulling more numbers for people. I welcome it in fact, as to create a more engaging conversation. But I’m not going to keep pulling numbers for you that I’ve already touched on in multiple ways throughout the thread. Sorry, brother.

I did a quick scan of non p5 teams. I see maybe 10 or fewer. Even though its many fewer games, tell me how many we played in Aug-Sept? A lot more than 10.

I'm willing to bet if you pull SOS it'll further make my point.

If you want to do it that way then you'll need to do it more of a ratio. Aug-Sep to Ovt-Jan.

When did this occur?

It didn't. A&M ended VY's Heisman chances that day, however.

Sounds like a typical A&M consolation prize

But even Franchione did better at A&M than Gene Stallings and several other coaches. The only success you've seen was quickly followed by NCAA probation. Bryant left town before the NCAA hammer came down, Stallings couldn't win (even while cheating), and Sherrill was run out on a rail to save your school from tougher NCAA penalties.
I don't remember any violations after 2012 when the NCAA came sniffing around and promptly getting bitch slapped. A&M was screwed by the NCAA and David Boren in '93 with harsher penalties than it deserved, especially compared to OU in '05 who did the same damn thing with lesser penalties. The truth is the horns and sooners have been protected by the NCAA through the years.

This is really, really sad and screams "loser."
Go research your 1993/4 probation. Hint: you were eligible for the death penalty because you were already on probation. Remember Kermit Davis?

I’m not going to read every post in here but are you trying to talk shite about a team paying for recruits
Posted on 6/23/18 at 2:01 pm to craigbiggio
A&M has been held to a different standard than those schools. This is irrefutable and fact.
Posted on 6/23/18 at 2:09 pm to Smart Post
I'm well aware of the circumstances. A&M fired Jackie and Kermit, two employees who cheated and paid the price. A&M never deserved a TV ban or lack of institutional control finding.
