Who gives 3 shits about the 3rd person? Just remember the second person salutation of "FU".

It's an old Big 8 thing;
- NU, University of Nebraska
- CU, University of Colorado
- KU, University of Kansas
- NU, University of Nebraska
- CU, University of Colorado
- KU, University of Kansas

I don't disagree but it appears to have been their naming convention.

Might be stupid, and you might not want to believe it, but it’s true. So to finish this rhyme, it’s a downvote, just for you.

I've been watching ball since the late 70s and never realized that.

Because "blOOOOOOOOw yoU!" sounds allot better than "yoU blOOOOOOOOOw!" Soooner's have always known they sucked, and the name of their University reflects that.

No MU? You forget about the best one.

At least A&M's is semi-appropriate given their recruiting.

I wasn’t sure if that was still a thing.

Why do we say amen and not awomen?
Because we sing hymns instead of hers

Why is it the University of Colorado, but the moniker is CU and not UC? The same is true at Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma: KU, MU, NU and OU, respectively. "Midwestern casualness," says CU historian Fred Casotti. It has always been this way at Colorado, for whatever reason, and at the other four listed, but seemingly nowhere else in the country. In the 1950s, there was a concerted effort to eliminate the use of "CU" on the Boulder campus, both as a symbol and in speech, but Casotti said that no one would buy into it.

Why do grown adults wave Pom Poms at Georgia games or annoying cow bells at Mississippi State games?
Why does Georgia copy the Packers logo?

UO is taken already. It's the University of Ohio, or the Fightin' Soliches.

Oklahoma is in the Southwest, not the Midwest. Let that sink in.

Why does OU have a chuck wagon mascot is it full of Alpo?
