Why is Georgia not playing a decent non-conference game next year?

Usually Georgia plays 2 power 5 opponents. Who backed out?

Oklahoma was supposed to be on the schedule but they were replaced because they'll be in the conference before the home and home could be completed.

SEC made us cancel our game with Oklahoma

Definitely would have made for a more interesting schedule.
One good thing, is Georgia Tech massively improved this past year. They are still not very good, but they were hapless the last 2-3 years. If they can continue to make small improvements they can become a respectable program again soon.

They got that Clemson schedule thing going for them. Play no one.

Well, Mr. UMASS/Cal/Samford/New Mexico State,
Why isn't Auburn playing a decent non-conference game next year?

Georgia avoids LSU and Bama during the regular season as well.
West opponents are home for Ole Miss and at Auburn.

Unless we completely implode, we'll get to show how good we are in the SECCG.

From my standpoint I would say Alabama plays no one. Who did Alabama play that was better than Georgia or Tennessee?
We played two teams that beat Alabama and beat them handily, so it looks as if Alabama has that "Clemson schedule thing" going for them.

Why would either of these two bother us?

I get the backlash, but why was his question bad? He is correct. We typically do play a good OOC schedule and at first glance we do not this year. Oklahoma was just taken off the schedule by the SEC. It was a reasonable question.

I don’t know of any Dawg fans who are happy about losing the Oklahoma game. It sucks.

Is a bama fan really criticizing someone else’s OoC schedule?
