I can agree with that while still believing that a strike/moratorium/retreat to safe space/whatever is still dumb. Perhaps it accomplished something in terms of awareness. I think there were better ways.

And it is better now.
Well, we'll just see what next week is like if LSU and A&M both lose.

I plan on riding 74-72 so far into the ground that I hit liquid hot magma. That’s where tiger fans store their tears anyway.

This isn't true. Europeans introduced pigs to Hawaii and now they're every-damn-where out there.
Wrong.
quote:
The feral hogs running around Hawaii are descendants of the original pigs Polynesians brought with them to the islands as many as 800 years ago.
Granted. Consider the source (this is amaze-balls that this was the first link I clicked on via Google):

“It has always been believed that the pigs were likely brought by famed explorer James Cook when he discovered the islands around 1778,” says Anna Linderholm, study coauthor, assistant professor of anthropology at Texas A&M University, and director of the BIG (bioarchaeology and genomics) laboratory.
“He almost certainly brought pigs, chickens, and other animals with him. But our findings show that the wild hogs there today were introduced much earlier than his arrival, by hundreds of years at least. They likely came from European or Asian descent.”
Nice research, Aggies. Mahalo!
At any rate, I knew from living there that Polynesians took dogs and pigs with them wherever they settled. They were some amazing seafaring mofos. My mom worked at the Bishop Museum in Honolulu so I spent a lot of time exploring the exhibits on Polynesia. Highly recommend visiting if you find yourself on Oahu.

How about you...don’t ruin this great moment of unity and brotherhood in the SECRant’s history?

Interesting. Thanks for the info. I lived there for a time as well and had heard the opposite.

It may have been dumb; some of my best moments in life have been. But geez, we couldn’t post in a single stinkin’ thread without the horns pissing all over the tree. It was absurd.
For me personally, I just needed a breather before the season started—along with a reminder that those jackasses aren’t worth acknowledging
. You’re one of my fave posters, so I’m not offended in the least by your take.
As for liquor ... vodka is so versatile; how can you go wrong? We can start an entire thread about that.
My bourbon tastes typically run cheap; but no matter what I try, Weller remains my favorite.
Scotch ... complete no brainer for me: Aberlour A’bunadh—any cask. With a cap of water in it. Heaven in a glass.

One time when we were kids and already drunk we decided to use vodka in lieu of water in a bong. It was bad.
That was like...23 years ago now and I still won't touch the shite.

Buffalo Trace does make a lot of good bourbons. Just finished off some Four Roses Single Barrel. Eagle Rare is quality.

That I have not tried. Will have to try.
For a long time, Irish whiskey was my favorite and largely still is. Not as sweet as American whiskey and usually smoother and less peaty than Scotch. But bourbon is growing on me more and more as is Scotch. With a kid at home and limited opportunities to escape the house at night, a finger or two out of a high end bottle is a perfect way to end the day. Now that Les Miles is gone I don't keep nearly as much on hand during football season. Though I think 7 overtimes cleaned me out.

I mean, maybe Everclear. What could go wrong?

Looking back on it, it was a terrible idea. Even without the potential for setting one's self alight, it also provoked near immediate projectile vomiting.

Clemson had better pray they do not play Alabama this year. Even Dabo realizes it
