Why is everyone making a big deal about the LSU meme girl?

The score was 22-0 and she was not having fun rightfully so. The people around her are all smiling and having fun like the game isn’t a beat down. She had the same exact look on her face that I had pretty much the whole game. The problem is most of those stupid kids go to games and don’t even give a shite about the outcome. It’s a photo-op for them. They tailgate go to the game for a half then go out. It’s a joke. This generation is becoming so soft.

I think that's it. She is popular on here because she is the kind of fan we are, and reacted like one of us would and she stood out in the crowd too. And she is hot too.

But why was everyone else so happy go lucky looking? We were getting drummed. What the hell kind of “fans” sit there and smile when getting beat 22-0?

Looked like a bunch of kids/students. Probably looking forward to the parties they were about to attend, beer they will be drinking, arse they will be nailing.

Uh, because she's hot. And likeable since she's not a brainless drone enjoying the beat down. I feel sorry for anyone who bought a ticket to that game.

Because they went to the game to have a good time. Some folks don't let a little thing like losing a football game bring them down.

At least she was watching the game. When I was at ole miss I was remember watching a good close game in 4th quarter and looking around in student section and no one gave a shite or was even paying any attention at all, I was like “what the frick people”. They were talking about what party to go to what band was playing where etc. (including my date) and this was way way before cell phones.

I hate that mentality. Don’t come to the game if you’re not there to actually watch the game. It’s not a social event. It’s LSU football.
