That’s how national champions weren’t determined in 1983. You can think the voters were dumb or that it was unfair. But that’s how things worked in 1983. That was the “standard” of the era, like it or not

4 of your new claims (1910/1914/1958/2004) aren't even listed in the records book. And claiming 1993 when y'all weren't even allowed to play in the SEC title game is dubious at best.

If we are going to go this route then, that is fine. Then you recognize our claims to 1913, 1983, and 1993. All three are recognized in the NCAA records book. So, your only issue it would appear is 1910, 1958, and 2004. '58 I've already said I don't think should be recognized.
ETA: left out 1914.

I have sympathy for what happened to Auburn in 83 but the same exact thing happened to Bama in 77.
Even Chuck Oliver said that claiming 1993 is embarrassing. You've gotta just take the L on that one.

I've said I don't claim 93 as well, can't remember if it was this thread or another though, i'm just using the criteria you set forth

What part of that is me not recognizing their claim? I'm using it in my argument as to why our claims are justified . That requires me to recognize it.
I do think it is a very weak claim but I also said in this thread they have unclaimed ones that are stronger, which always confused me when they decided to pick the ones they did.
