I cannot speak for all Aggies. Just for myself.

Never threw a fit with the news. Actually laughed bc I thought, dang, sips are going loco. In the 12 team playoff they would make it most years. Good luck in the SEC.

Now of course they look good making it this year but they have an easy schedule as everyone knows. OU of course got the hardest. Go figure

I actually like OU. Have family and friends that are Sooners. I could be bitter if I wanted to bc I know how the OU football program mocks the state of Texas even though many of their best teams were built with Texas HS talent. But I don’t. I focus on my friends and I do love how OU has dominated the sips in the Big 12.

The only negative of the change was having to deal with the arrogant Ohio State like sip fans. Of course I just ignore them, know their tendencies. It does appear this forum is just now starting to understand their annoyance. LOL

As an OU fan... I appreciate the kind post. But as to the bolded...

We here in Oklahoma have taken a little bit of "mocking" from Texans through the years as well.

That might have a little to do with it.

When A&M and Missouri left the Big 12 for the SEC, I rooted hard for them. They were for the first few years essentially upper-middle tier teams representing the Big 12 in the SEC.

When Manziel did his thing I cheered him on. When Missouri made it to the conference championship game 2 of their first 3 years, I was happy to see it. My thought was, see, Big 12 teams (not even better ones) can win in the SEC.

Given, Missouri's success was far more a consequence of being in a weak division but still.

Then when OU finally began winning Big 12 titles again, all we got in return from A&M and Missouri fans was how pitiful our conference was and how meaningless our success was.

These are two teams who combined for one Big 12 title (last century at that) in the roughly 15 years they were both in it. Trashing their old conference is the ultimate in lack of self awareness.

I'll never trash old Big 12 teams. I wish them well. I certainly wouldn't trash a Big 12 team who dominated my team (not that one exists). That would just be silly.

I laughed when A&M threw a fit when Texas joined the SEC. Those clueless idiots didn't know that that was always going to be an option for Texas.

What a long winded way to say you're a bitch and you realize oU is about to get their shite pushed in.

Hate to see it...

Missouri fans will always be pissed that OU took away one of their three opportunities at a national championship in 2007. The others are Kansas in 1960 and Auburn in 2013.

Texas A&M will never live down the 77-0 thrashing. Their Cotton Bowl (minor bowl) win over OU holds no weight as the season was already over yet they treat it like a national championship.

OU has done just fine since January 2013. Aggy’s biggest accomplishment since that 77-0 beat down was a Jimbo Orange Bowl win, a minor Cotton Bowl win, and a drunk Heisman winner.

eh, not really pissed. You beat us 2x that season and not on controversial calls or any bullshite like that. Certainly wish we would have won the last contest that year, but it's hard to argue that you weren't the better team in 2007. So really, there's nothing to be pissed about. Just reality.

I'm focused on 2024. Before last week's game I was confident we would beat you in November. Now I'm a little cautious, but I'll be there and if we get a few things fixed we'll prevail.

We were happy to beat OU in the Cotton Bowl. I was there and had a great time! No one treats it like it was the National Championship.

Why would you know what that is?

Boy you aggies are weird / insecure.

But at least you agree that a&m has been utterly worthless

agree with you to an extent, but if we are using that same rule -A&M has virtually never had a successful season... like ever lol

That's exactly what I'm saying....no need to requote

This the same OU whose President said this RIGHT AFTER asking Mizzou to recommit to the B12

“OU president David Boren said Friday that the Sooners weren’t going to be a “wallflower” when it comes to conference realignment.” LINK

You are over here acting like a victim, when your own President was the final push to A&M and Mizzou jumping.

Mizzou & A&M came into the SEC with humility. Y’all came acting like it was just SEC hype. As you’ve seen vs Tenn, Trenches filled with NFL prospects aren’t hype.

Thats me too. You have to admire what their program has done.

What I fricking hate is their coach. frick him so hard for how he negative recruited us in the Big 12, how he pulled the whole "Mr Texas A&M" bullshite.

But after two completely unfair seasons for OU in a row he will likely be run out on a rail, and then I will have zero problems with OU.

OU would then get beat down when it got a playoff bid because OU was soft from playing a soft schedule.

Yep and Mizzery was one of them...

OU All time Verse Mizzery.

67-24-5

You all have only beaten us 4 times since 1972...

So what does that say about Mizzery?
