Bama false started on the punt, so it’s irrelevant.

But it does point to the important role refs can play. The false start miss would have been a reasonable break to go our way, as it was a bama mistake that was missed.

Uga winning 14 of 17 from 2006-now is more than enough to prove auburn is UGA’s bitch.

This is how some posters wave the white flag. Wave it proudly.

Others do it like “low IQ” irons has done with emoji only posts.

So you are saying UGAs recent bitch ? Is UGA UF's recent bitch ?

What? You should work on your usage of the English language. This is a rough read, and what appears to be a very stupid point:

Uga is 8-9 vs UF from 2004-now, which is very different from the auburn series.

That was as dumb as this post of yours that you never tried to explain:

That is like me saying Bama, USC, UGA, A&M held AU back from a NC last year.

Seems to me Auburn is the underachiever.

How does Auburn share a state with 17 National Championships and Auburn only has two?

You can recruit the same players. So why does Alabama have 17 titles and Auburn only has 2?

Well, Auburn, in the last 17 games against Georgia has lost 14 of those games. Georgia, in their last 17 games against Florida is 8-9. Seems pretty close to me between UGA/Fla. Not so close between UGA/AU.

It’s in their heads. Their whole fan base expects to lose. The “here we go again” mentality. I blame Atlanta sports but at least the Braves are coming out of it.

The Braves just finished one of the most epic chokes in the history of sports in the state. There is only one that I can think of that was definitely worse and we all know what it is.

Hey now, that used to be one of Iron's go-to statements relative to Gus & Auburn. He loved to tell us, "Well at least Auburn's in the conversation every year".

It's not just UGA that underachieves. So do the Braves, Falcons, and Hawks.

I think there are several reasons:

1) Georgia was never really a top dog in Southern football during the formative days of the sport. Alabama was often called the team of the South due to their Rose Bowl successes. Tennessee had Neyland. Georgia never really developed a national reputation and Georgia Tech may've actually been the more reputable football power in the state when they left the SEC.

2) Georgia's modern successes have had a bad habit of being overshadowed or taking a bad beat. UGA's three best teams of the 21st century: finished #3 behind Miami and Ohio State in the 2002 final BCS poll, lost to Alabama in the 2012 SECCG, and lost to Alabama in the 2018 CFPCG. In 2002, a 1-loss SEC champion was good enough to make the field the very next year ('03 LSU). In 2012, clearly that SECCG was the real national title and they lost the game near the Alabama goal line as time expired. In 2017, they lost in overtime after taking the lead.

tldr: They were a late bloomer as a relevant national power and since blooming they had a ton tough luck.

So when you say "Juggernaught" do you mean Alabama, LSU, and Florida? Those are the last 3 SEC teams that kept you from the big dance.
Usually at least one. The past few years where we have had a legit shot at a championship, we had got beat by the eventual national champion or the runner up to end our shot. We haven't been able to coast our way there like some teams, some seasons.

I'd remind folks that the big game busts were Clemson's calling card until it wasn't. They broke through in a big way and have essentially supplanted FSU as the king of the ACC and a legitimate title threat every year.

Fans will isolate one play or say X didn't work so why didn't they do opposite of X...but I don't really see anything damningly wrong with UGA's coaching over the 21st century. Certainly nothing that explains why they keep on "choking" as some would call it. The truth is that if they keep on putting themselves in position with recruiting and winning the games they're suppose to win then they will likely flip the trend and pull off a title or two.

Texas is really the biggest quandary w/r/t to capacity v. accomplishment. They way underperform what they should be able to do. Georgia is at least getting themselves a play or two away from the prize consistently these days.

My guess is you are peaking thru the hole in the bathroom stalls in the men's restrooms on I-10.
