Mississippi State was a Charter SEC school
Mizzou is a head scratcher but if Sooners had come with TAMU at the time, neither you or Mizzou are in the SEC now.
Florida is more relevant in modern CFB. I may be old enough to remember DKR but most just remember Buttertooth. Modern football is dominated by the SEC and ACC. The Big 12 could have been #2 but Utx was such an a$$hole the PAC and B1G broke it up with Nebraska and Colorado leaving
