So let me get this straight.....26 players have recorded tackles for loss this year? Yet, your overall defensive stats STILL aren't as good as Bama's. With all that depth, youre still allowing more yardage per game than Alabama. Obviously our few are WAY better than your many.

So you enter the debate that LSU has depth by admitting LSU has depth. Neat approach.

I honestly don't know if LSU has more depth or not. If they do, then so be it. Either way Its pointless to argue it. My point was this....If in fact LSU does have more depth, then Bama is obviously accomplishing more with less depth since their overall defensive stats are better than LSU's. As I said earlier, our few are clearly better than your many.

Oh, that is beyond debate. We really are just going through the motions.

Y'all were clearly better last year too though. So, I guess y'all didn't prepare very well.

How many games have your few won this year?

Our many has won 8.

How much experience does bama's number 2 QB have?

might be a key position sometime...

This is actually a great question. Our #2 has little to nearly no experience. That isn't to say he's not a good QB, but IF he's called into action against LSU, then I will really begin to sweat. As a side note....maybe next summer, AJ should beat the shite out of a bar patron so Sims can get a few starts under his belt.

OR

Bama does things like have more passing yards than all but 20 teams in the NCAA when up by 14 or more, cause it makes their fans feel so warm and fuzzy. Maybe shite like that is happening. Maybe.

Now there's something that's definitely debatable. As much as I HATE to admit it (and I mean REALLY HATE TO) Miles outcoached Saban last year...at least in the 4th quarter. It's an ugly truth, but the truth none the less. I frickin' hate objectivity.

What does that have to do with defensive stats?

maybe defensively we have given up 1 TD when not leading by 15 plus.

Maybe Bama has given up more.

Or 73 passing attempts by AJ when up by 15 versis 40 from our guys. Even though we have more time up by 15? Stats are fickle when situations are considered.

Being the astute bama fan you are, I'm sure you knew that Lee had extensive experience (and quite some successful against your team) before the supposed bar beat down.

Since then... lemons... lemonaide... with vodka, please.

Hope we don't have to see your good/inexperienced number 2 qb next week... another excuse in the making.

It was a joke. I'm well aware of Lees experience.

I think people say LSU has more depth because they have had backups play SIGNIFICANT snaps and perform well when doing so. With all of the high-profile suspensions and injuries, everyone expected some drop off, and it just didn't happen.

It isn't a matter of whose backups have better stats because everyone plays backups in garbage time. LSU has just had backups start games against high-profile ranked opponents and, for the most part, they have excelled.

Given that Bama has only allowed ONE opponent to score more than one TD, (Arkansas scored 14), I'd say maybe not.

Neither team is WAY better in any category, really WAY better?

The reason our punter is never mentioned is because he hasn't punted enough this year to meet the minimum number required by the NCAA to be included in the national stats.
