First off, moron. Ok St has to beat Ok (which isn't gonna happen). And even if they do, it may be enough to sway voters to send Ok St and Bama and keep LSU out. Now THAT would be funny. Now let's get back to the arse whipping under way in ATL.
No dipshit. We're not. We both still go to NOLA.
Yep...and you needed the refs help to win that one.

I'm a huge fan of ANY Team that beats your bunch of thugs and crack heads...I will laugh my arse off if GA wins this game. And even harder after Bama wipes the dome floor with LSU. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!
Can't believe you LSU fans are whining about a bad call on the punt (which it wasn't), after your bullshite TD. Maybe JJ should just toss the ball to the ref immediately after taking each snap. So far that seems to be a pretty good formula for scoring.

"Their linebackers are kind of slow and big. I feel I can beat them one-on-one and get open in zones and man-to-man coverages," said Peterson, formerly a wide receiver. "If they guard me with a linebacker, I'll get open."

I guess he'll find out come Saturday.

I'd give just about anything to be there Sat night. I believe This will by far be THEEE biggest and loudest crowd BDS has ever seen. 103K screaming fans will be an awesome site to behold.

Chief doesn't need someone to hold his leash, though

If he worked for Saban he would. :rotflmao:
quote:

I was really suprised they gave the coaching edge to Bama, I know people mistakingly think Saban is the better coach... I figured having Chief would put us over the top in that category... They really didnt mention Chief very much... Just shows they really dont know football very well. Chief is one of the top D Coord. in the SEC, highly respected in the top D Conference in the nation. Come on now....

Honestly, I'm also surprised they gave the edge to Saban too. As much as I HATE to admit it, Miles outcoached Saban in last years game, at least in the 4th quarter. At the very least it should be a wash since the series is tied since Saban came to Bama.

So far as DC goes. You're correct, Chief is good. But he's one against two of the best defensive minds in CFB...Saban & Kirby Smart.

WR- LSU. Randle/Odell/Shep>Maze/?

Disagree. Darius Hanks, Kenny Bell & Deandrew White are all very talented receivers. If anything, WR is a wash also.

quote:

TE- LSU. Clement and Peterson are both starting caliber, Bama's TE is very good, LSU just has 2 very good ones.

Again, this one is a wash also. Bama also has two starting caliber TE's in Williams and Smelley.

DB should go to Bama as well. After all, LSU is currently ranked 10th in pass defense while Bama is ranked 2nd. We also have plenty of depth here.....Barron, Lester, Kirkpatrick, Menzie, Millner, Perry & Lowrey. All have seen considerable playing time this year.

And While I personally believe LSU's D line is better, I wouldn't say theyre WAY better, or even deeper. You don't obtain a #1 ranking in rush defense without a great D line.

Why does LSU think they have more depth?
Allow me to answer your question with a couple of questions:

If your starting QB gets knocked out of this game, do you have a proven backup with real game experience that you have 100% confidence in?

How about the same question- only this time in regards to your starting running back?

I can tell you that LSU can say yes to both questions- two players deep.

I'll concede that LSU has more depth at QB. But RB? No way. Bama is three deep at RB. Richardson, Lacy, and Fowler are all better than LSU's top three.
quote:

ETA, since LSU has number one pass defense in nation and the more versatile attack, I'll say LSU.

Check your stats there, genius. LSU is currently ranked 10th in pass defense while Bama is ranked 2nd behind Michigan State.

Bitch please! In case you havent noticed, BAMA is picked to win. We aren't nervous, worried, or scared. You losers are just another bump in the road. Enjoy that long ride back to Baton Rouge. It will allow you plenty of time to get the crying out of your system.

AJ is ranked third among SEC QBs, behind Wilson & Murray.

Ok, JL is ranked higher nationally. The ONLY reason why is because he's thrown 3 more TDs than AJ and has two fewer INTs and has been sacked fewer times ( a credit to your O line). AJ has a better completion percentage, has more yards per completion, has thrown for more total yardage, and has a longer single completion. Now I know it's difficult for a tool like you to think for yourself, but how can you look at the numbers and say JL is better when it comes to pass efficiency?

Also, if you'll notice, I also included RB's in my post. And one of your fellow coonasses said LSU has more depth at that position too. Yet no one has bothered to challenge the RB #'s I provided.

Contrary to what you think, we have plenty of depth. We just haven't had to play that many because half of our starters havent been arrested because they aren't thugs and crackheads.
Nope. He's still incorrect. I said AJ has a better completion percentage, which, as your link indicates. He does.
quote:

You and your fellow Bama fans seem on top of the stat situation. My question is do you think stats are a predictor for this upcoming game? I'm pretty sure that has not been the case the last 4 years... I could be wrong, and I've no doubt someone will correct me if I am

Maybe not necessarily a predictor per se. I think it's more of a preliminary indicator of how the two teams match up pound for pound. The way I see it, it's fun to talk smack with fellow SEC fans. After all, who the hell else is gonna talk smack to us? If we lose...well it'll suck, but at least I know another BCS title will still end up in an SEC trophy case. No other team in the country will even come close to Bama or LSU this year.
quote:

On top of that, LSU has played West Virginia (#28) and Mississippi State (#17). Hell even Kentucky is #22.

So I look at those stats, see similar numbers, but one set comes against much better competition.

You're kidding, right? You call Miss St, WVU, & UK "Much Better Competition"? Ok man. If you say so.
quote:

10 TD's and 3 INT's vs 13 TD's and 1 INT is not better.

3 int's in 200 attempts vs 1 int in 128 attempts is pretty damn close. I'll give you the three additional TD's. None the less, AJ still has a better completion percentage.

quote:

AJ has had alot more attempts. JL has alot lot less attempts, but better passing effeciancy.

When we do throw, we are better at it

No offense but that's incorrect also.

AJ has a completion percentage of 67.0%
Lee has a completion percentage of 63.2%

We throw more often & are better at it.
