I for one love him as my divisional opponent's coach, I hope he is there for many years.
Seriously though, UTK looks pretty legit so far this year, has he actually turned things around?

He didn't turn a damn thing around.
It's all about that orange dog.

I don't really like Derek Dooley.

Speaking for myself...
His dad
His hair
His pants
His jokes
The fact that he can't seem to win
You name it.

Do we really look better than last year? I seriously doubt we go 1-7 in SEC play, but I haven't seen much to think that we started this year any better off than we started last year, to be honest.
I have no doubt the team is better, but we're also a year older and don't have so many injuries (and hopefully it will stay that way).

Because he's a damn fine coach and a great chrisitan man of honesty and integrity, unlike Satan in Tuscaloosa. I hope you UT fans realize you have a rare gem at the head of your program that many fans would go on a 12 state killing spree to have. Keep him as long as you possibly can.

The cry across the hills and hollers of Tennessee will be "Far Dirk Dooley" if he doesn't win this year. Then you will hear "Har Pete Carl" if Seattle fires him.

WHatever- I have no idea where anyone is getting "integrity" from him. He refuses to punch most of the contributing a-holes on his team, starting with Bray. Rogers had to fail how many drug tests and throw how many fits, before he was kicked off, and even then I bet he wasn't officially gone until they had heard confirmation of Patterson's clearinghouse status. Wasn't it parents of the guys whose things were stolen by Clear that had to push for Dooley to kick him off the team? The fact that he made a joke about Bray intentionally destroying others property rather than actually try to teach him a lesson in life just says it all to me.

so you don't remember him throwing his headset and storming off the field without shaking Miles' hand after the game? Miles had to chase him down.

We are all curious if he will develop into a class act like his father, who has been good for the SEC.

i still would've shaken Miles' hand afterwards.
Yep, you've seen what was a win just 2 minutes ago become a loss...Ya know what? That's fine. I'll just go shake the opposing coach's hand and be Mr. Sunshine.

Vince Dooley can go frick himself for helping to retroactively strip our 84 SEC title.

I'm no Dool-Aid drinker, but put yourself in his orange pants when that shite went down in Baton Rouge.
I might have killed a man if that was me.

You should never blame someone else for your mistake. And it follows that you should never be angry at someone else for your mistake. With Les Miles, WYSIWYG. He doesn't pretend to be anything other than what he is.
He didn't chase down Dooley to shake his hand in order to embarrass or humiliate him. He did it because he was taught that is what coaches do after a game...shake hands. No matter what.
Call me old school, but I agree with him.
