Good Morning Humans :gmt:
How about a
JOTD!!
So, a teacher took the young students on a school trip to watch how builders work onsite to construct a house.
During the event, a builder fell from a ladder and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Back at school, the teacher started analyzing the event with the children:
"Tom, why did the builder fall?"
"Well, he probably didn't pay attention."
"Very well, Tom ! David, what do you have to say?"
"Well, he probably didn't respect work safety!"
"Well said, David ! Andrew, what is your opinion?
"He must have been distracted while cursing at me, ma'am!"
"What do you mean, Andrew?"
"Well, he said to me: "frick off you little shite, stop rocking the ladder !!"

I never remember even leaving but it all works out I guess.

Good Morning Humans :gmt:
Let’s make it a day of rest, just for fun. Maybe some early yard work then a good Saturday brunch somewhere cheap and easy.
But whatever ya got going on, enjoy this last weekend of July.
This Day in History: July 25, 2026
1946
The United States tested the first underwater atomic bomb at Bikini Atoll.
1952
Puerto Rico became a commonwealth of the United States.
1956
The Italian liner Andrea Doria sank after colliding with the Swedish ship Stockholm off the New England coast, killing 51 people.
1978
The world's first test-tube baby, Louise Joy Brown, was born in Lancashire, England.
1984
Soviet cosmonaut Svetlana Savitskaya became the first woman to walk in space.
2000
The supersonic airliner Concorde crashed after takeoff outside Paris.
JOTD
Man in hospital bed wearing oxygen mask over his mouth "Nurse" he mumbles "Are my testicles black ?"
She raises his gown, holds his penis in one hand and his testicles in the other. She strokes them very slowly . Then she takes a closer look and says "There's nothing wrong with them".
The man pulls off the oxygen mask, smiles at her and says very slowly "Thanks for that, it was lovely, but listen very very carefully" ...
"Are-my-test-results-back ?"
Go do good things.

re: Your full potential: Have you reached it? Will you?

Like the Spruce Goose, I flew once by accident, peaking 3rd year at LSU.
Downhill ever since.
But at least my BMI reached its +30 potential. For that, I can alway say no to life jackets.

It is but today’s cartridges can handle the rain as opposed to a pouch of gunpowder. And there’s no flint to get wet and misfire.
Technological innovation addresses issues with earlier builds is the point.

My god. You people probably still warn soldiers to keep their powder dry and their muskets clean.
Technology advances. They are recirculating cooling water / glycol.

Oh good. Let's go ahead and approve another 50 data centers.
Just like most cars, they use a radiator system and cool and recirculate / not down the drain.
Most PSC’s are requiring the data centers electric bills reduce consumer bills.

As long as I’m in bed by 10. :snoozer:
But until then, it’s 5th gear and nothing to fear.
So let’s knock the cover off the ball until then
Whatever your want, all you have to do is
Make it up
Make it happen.

Quit peeing in the shower. That’s what feeds foot funguses, fungi, and fungus.
We had a little shower.
But worse, I ate too much for dinner and may skip supper.
ETA: :Banghead: Will add to the downvotes for using North Louisiana slang where we don’t cotton to the namby-pamby term, “Lunch”.
