Correct. Those guys are infinitely more talented than any DB on aTm too. Just think how bad Chavis' D is going to look with that roster.

Too bad you don't have the roster that caused those dips.

nah I am pretty sure none of our players transferred.
Chavis needs 3 things to succeed. ON the field
Lock down Corners
A good MLB
Edge pass rushers
A&M has 1 of those things.

Has there ever been a more disappointing team in regards to their expectations than A&M in 2013?
South Carolina 2014. OU 2014. ND 2014. Florida 2013. TCU 2013 Arkansas 2012. Texas 2012. Mich State 2012. WV 2012.
Heck, LSU has started the season ranked in the top 10 and finished unranked 4 times. A&M started in the top 5 and finished ranked in the top 15 or so, and the 9 wins were fewer than we wanted, but it was nowhere close to the most disappointing team ever.
By the way...it wasn't that long ago (2008) that LSU started the season #7 and finished unranked. That's much worse than A&M's 2013, and that was Les's 4th year.

This is about LSU shitting on your best player in your history, stay on topic.

You are typing out of your arse. None of those teams had returning Heisman winners and a fanbase promising conference & national championships like A&M. It was the most overhyped team of the 21st century.

Ok, good. I just wanted to clarify that Chavis was not responsible for that Alabama loss, DBU was.

Whatever will make you feel better when Chavis turns in a D ranked somewhere in the mid 80's for the next 3 years.

1. I have no idea why have a returning Heisman winner is the be-all end-all of the expectation setting.
2. You can make up stuff if you want, but it just makes you look even more desperate.
As I said, LSU, under Les Miles, was ranked #7 in the country to start the 2008 season, and they finished unranked. That's objectively worse that A&M's 2013, as are all of the other teams that I listed.
In week 5 of 2008, LSU was #2 in the country. You finished unranked.

LSU kicked their starting qb off the team before the start of the season and only got up as high as they did because a) everyone in front lost and b) they hadn't played anyone yet.
Edit: LSU got up to #4 before losing to us, not #2.

Who were the LSU QBs in 2008? I remember 3 different starters..none of which were returning Heisman winners.
You lose.
You lose.
Posted on 3/26/15 at 3:21 pm to Hugh McElroy
that's because that team was garbage. The national championship in 2007 inflated the ranking in 2008.
That was also the co-D coordinator year which was a complete bust

And we lost our #2 QB for the season in the third game (granted he sucked)

Similarly, A&M lost two games because Manziel had a broken thumb, and a third because on an uncalled horse collar. It doesn't change the fact that it was a disappointment.
Furthermore, you are wrong on your facts. LSU was ranked #2 in two of the three polls in week 5. They were ranked #3 in the AP poll.
