Why do y’all think OM fans are “scared” Kiffin is leaving? It makes no sense

I mean damn, let him leave lol…the only thing that stands out to me about his tenure at OM is he’s given us some of the worst defense my eyes have ever seen…sure, we’ve won some games, but have you taken a good look at our QB? Many, many coaches would win games with that guy…. a great QB and a great OC is a pretty damn good formula (ask 2019 Coach O).
We always knew Oxford was a short stop for LK, and I for one am good with that….he has not recruited well and he is NOT the long term answer for Ole Miss…so let him go….IDGAF.

Except our previous coach who didn’t even start him

Yeah tons of coaches could have ole miss 6-1 with a heisman level qb. Happens every year

Oh the irony of you being the one making this thread especially when you constantly posting Saban age as some type of rebuttal. As if Bama posters specifically aren't aware of the fact or haven't heard the same thing for the past 5 years.

Fine we at Mizzou will take him.

Kiffin won't leave for LSU anyway. He won't be walking into that mess, with investigations by the ncaa, fbi, dept of education, and a new woke president.

You are talking about Lane Kiffin. History says otherwise.

Lane is overrated. What exactly has he done anywhere he's been?

Who else will be a good replacement when Kiffin leave Ole Miss?

When he wasn't fired, he always left for a better opportunity. Right now LSU is not a better opportunity than Ole Miss. There wasn't a mess like this when Herman and Fisher turned them down and LSU was left with Orgeron and a binder.
Kiffin might leave for FSU, Miami, or a Michigan. He won't leave for LSU. Actually, I doubt LSU's new woke president would hire him due to his irreverent reputation. Not when the ncaa is investigating and the title ix issues.

OM is pretty much a destination program, not a stepping stone. I doubt Kiffin leaves for a "better opportunity" unless OM can't/won't whip out the checkbook when other programs come knocking.

I also believe this also, it hilarious that these Ole Miss posters think that Oxford is a destination or bit of college poon will keep Kiffin in town.
Kiffin was in LA
Kiffin was in Bay area
Kiffin was in Boca Raton
All are pussy paradises.
Kiffin has been at 6 different places in 12 years.
Oakland
Tennessee
USC
Alabama
FAU
Ole Miss

I repeat, it's Kiffin and he knows the talent level that he will recruit at that school. He is one guy that could be willing to hold his nose for a while and take the long-run approach.

OM will be spending $400 mil in the next two to three years to make further improvements to the Manning Center, completely reconstruct the West stands of the stadium, adding more club-level amenities and do anything else Kiffin wants. He has carte blanche.
