Why do we even have divisions this year?

IMO, if we even have a conference championship it should just be the top two teams.
With 4 cross-divisional games the divisions are more intermixed. While the east still has an unfair advantage because they all suck except for Georgia and kind of Florida, the West has Arkie and two new MS coaches this year.
It’s shaping up to be a balanced year and it’d be dumb for a 3 loss Georgia team to get in over a 2 loss LSU or something.

Some people like chaos. Civilized people don’t.

How is taking the top 2 chaos? That’s the definition of order.
Taking a 4 loss east team is chaos.

LSU will have at least 2 losses this season.
2 extra SEC teams is rough even coming off of a 2019 season.

In reality, the powers that be want to give Alabama the easiest path to the playoff.
The so called “experts” are convinced that Alabama will beat LSU this year. They also know how hard it would be for Alabama to beat LSU twice
They know it would be harder for Alabama to beat LSU twice than Georgia or Florida

Bc it's how we have done it since 1992. It won't matter for state anyway. They aren't going to the ship.

Why would the East have a 4 loss winner?
Also State fans should be more worried about finishing above .500

Ask yourself this: What system has the best chance of putting Alabama in the SEC championship?
There's your answer.

Why would I be worried? We have a new coach, so sub .5 is likely but anything greater will be a pleasant surprised. Football is not supposed to be something you “worry” about.

Yeah. It's almost mind boggling that the east split with the west last season and actually had the advantage the year before.
Why is a MState fan so concerned about this anyway?

Oh. So this is the year you figure MState won't make it?

Mississippi State hasn’t finished sub .5 in a long arse time.

You haven't made the playoffs or the BCS title game or the SEC Championship in a long time either. So explain to us why you are so concerned about divisions?

Because I enjoy watching college football. Why are you so triggered right now?

Is that your go to when somebody disagrees with you or says something you don't like? Call them triggered?
I am a little fuzzy about how divisions will affect your watching football, though. Does it keep you from watching somehow? Can you expand on that?

Because divisions force the 6 games we all have to play and they didn’t want to change that
For the record I agree there shouldnt be divisions this year

I’m fine with that staying the same, actually. I just don’t think it should be relevant to crowning a champion.
If this conference-heavy schedule sticks, it’s going to make less and less sense having Georgia vs West team.

No, it’s my go to when someone is upset, like you are.
I know why the post upsets you. You know why the post upsets you. Why don’t you just spit it out instead of bringing up the fact that I’m a MSU fan? Like you think I haven’t heard all that before? Lol.
