I've been very vocal about it in the past but I'll say it again: Bringing Texas into this conference is the biggest mistake we've ever made. Aside from all the sidewalk Bama fans saying things like "Oh we're gonna beat that arse" or Georgia fans thinking we're gonna embarrass them over and over again or whatever, Texas is bringing a massive amount of money and influence into the conference - more than any other school that's already here. UT's endowment is the second largest in the country ($43 BILLION!) behind only Harvard and higher than Yale, Stanford, and Princeton. This kind of money and prestige will have massively destructive effects on the SEC. They'll be quiet their first few years here but within a decade, I'd bet one of my nuts that at least one of the big school tournaments will be moved from Atlanta, Nashville or Hoover to somewhere in Texas. They will also flex their muscles on naming future UT friendly conference commissioners, and if you believe otherwise, you're fooling yourself.
They've also historically destroyed their TWO previous conferences with clearly no regard for their conference mates because of greed.
We should have let them go to some other conference to bankrupt but we let them in the door. And we fricked ourselves. So you can count me among the people who don't like the Whorns, and aside from their alums, I don't think there's a whole lot of other people who are excited to admit this trojan horse.
It's like watching a car crash in slow motion.

Honestly, I don't think enough people have said it. Not just LSU fans - every other school in the conference should have been saying it. We should have taken OU and paired them with Ok State or something. Literally any other school would have been better than these guys.
Now it's too late and we're fricked. Even all the rednecks thinking shite like "I can't wait to beat that Longhorn arse...".. They're missing the big picture because they're a bunch of Wal-Mart shirt buying, toothless retards. If you're a degree holding, football fan alumnus from any other school in the conference, you just held the door open for the burglars. It’s crazy how when you talk to big 12 fans they are celebrating and so happy that they are kicking the Longhorns over to the SEC. The only thing they are unhappy about is losing Oklahoma. The contrary to what the media says fans and schools in the big 12 are acting like they’re about to get a cancer free diagnosis next year.

Lol of course they think that way. Texas has won over 230 conference titles. The school with the next most is Oklahoma, who has won less than 100. You don't think it'll be refreshing when other schools will finally have a chance across all sports to rack up some trophies?

A&M, Missouri, Nebraska and Colorado all did the same thing, but weren't near as villified. Then again, that kind of talk usually stems from jealousy and envy over what others have (which kind of explains your post history on this site over the past few days tbh)

UTrans fan: the big 12 absolutely hates us and are glad we are leaving because we dominated them in sports over a decade ago, not because we’ve tried to destroy the big 12 on 2 different occasions
But what about OU? They’ve been dominating everyone over the last 10 years, but big 12 fans wish they would stay, and they don’t hate them at all
