I wasn't arguing that point. I pointed out the Clemson is just the university, a small downtown, and a lake. Being close to Greenville helps Clemson out.

Hey Tillman, Tuscaloosa has not 1 but TWO lakes, and the Black Warrior River that runs right beside the University.

great. i'm not anti-tuscaloosa for college, i was only responding to the notion by Bama fan that nobody knows where Clemson is. i think if that is true, it is true for Tuscaloosa as well.

what can you do is tuscaloosa that you can't do in Clemson?

View in Tuscaloosa is WAY better, have you never been there? Sorority row may be the most impressive in the entire USA. Even the bad houses have hot women.

ESPN had a graphic a couple of years ago that said Clemson was in North Carolina.

And outside the southeastern United States, the "G" was more likely recognized as Green Bay. The majority >50.1% of people didn't know it was UGA

No you said that there's nothing in Tuscaloosa but the university. When I said that's all Clemson is, you argued that they have a lake and mountains.

Quit changing the argument

lol well you can't provide any evidence that the girls at Alabama look better than girls at CLemson. it is not like Bama blocks ugly girls from going there.

I think it is fair to say that outside of South Carolina, parts of Georgia and parts of North Carolina...nobody knows where Clemson is unless they have some ties to family or the area. I'm sure that same could be said about Tuscalossa.

It doesn't seem that big, unless it's one of those towns that count all the outlying areas as part of it. Do you know if they're including the students in that number?

I say that because Charleston and Columbia are only slightly bigger population wise, but you'd never consider them the same size if you've visited all three.

I can I have been to both places, Alabama is truly impressive. Since you did not respond that you had actually been I am fairly certain you have never been there.

when I was at clemson in late 90s, the 3rd most represented state was NJ. lol they def. know about it up north.

people up north coem down to SC to vacation at the beach and many of them want to go to college here as a result. so they look to see what the colleges are in SC and Clemson is the 2nd largest one.
