BIG may be in a good position today but I don’t like their long term prospects due to demographics. Simply put, the upper Midwest is losing population and the trend will continue.
Delaney made a big gamble in inviting Maryland and Rutgers to try and expand to the NE and Mid Atlantic. He hoped to lure UVA and UNC to the BIG when the ACC was having difficulties in 2012. Didn’t work out and the BIG is stuck with those two programs.
Long term, I think the SEC and ACC are in the strongest positions.

Know SEC is. Maybe B1G. ACC seems to be steady. PAC...eh. But still think B12 is 1st to dissolve. Don't know how much longer WV will stay a member.

Problem with that is what happens with those schools.
SEC doesn't benfit from the Big 12 dissolving so it is in the SEC's best interest for the conference to stay together.

ACC is last in revenue by school
There is no proof yet that their network is changing that.
2012 ACC still exist but there is hope that the network will fix the revenue issues.
I don't see it.
14 schools but only a few have fanbases to support a conference network.
Too many BigEast schools. Why should Florida St and Clemson share their revenue with BC and Pitt.

If the Big 12 dissolves
SEC most likely will stay at 14.
That leaves Texas and Oklahoma to either pull the ACC even with the SEC or those schools to join the B1G.
B1G already is bringing in more money from their network.
The 30+ million people in Oklahoma and Texas would be additional 15 million to each school.

I want to expand to 20. Let the old 10 be one division. We play each other, then forget about the other 10. Just act like they are the new SWC.

Problem with that is Ole Miss has more history with Arkansas than some schools in the East
Same with LSU with Arkansas and aggy.
I would be for that if you put LSU and Ole Miss in the west
