The 2020 season was preternatural, a grotesque aberration of the laws of physics. The movements of time and space were hanging in suspended animation awaiting Dr. Fauci to say we could resume living human life again as we wish.
Everything that happened in sports should be wiped from the books (or at least apply an asterisk due to the bizarreness of the situation).

i would put an asterisk next to 2020. The entire year is a foggy blur. Only thing I remember from 2020 is Tiger King.

As in proving stadium upgrades are pointless because fans aren't needed for the games to go on? I certainly hope that isn't the "future of college football". That entire season was a shite show for sure, capped by LSU ducking a game against the Longhorns when we certainly would have gotten revenge for getting Burreaux'd the year before. (Yet still was an easy dropped TD pass from making that a much different game)

Even a Bama fan doesn’t really believe that. I can’t believe BDS actually put a 2020 banner in the stadium. I’m not even trolling. It was super weird. I guess if it makes you feel better about an otherwise worthless season, fine, but I’d quarantine that thing immediately because it diminishes all of Saban’s other accomplishments. It was not a real season, and Bama fans know that.
That is not what the thread was about. None of this was a troll but of course Bama fans think everything is about them and it hasn’t been in 6 years. This is about the season. 2020 was a really important season outside of football and I guess you guys are behind the times and won’t realize it until much later.
Furthermore, I hope your kids are at least 6 years old otherwise they may never live through a Bama championship depending on who they hire after DeBoer. Sad.

It was. Totally wasted season. Some teams played 6 games. Some played 7 or 8. Some played none. The whole "season" should be struck down in history. All that trouble over a cold
