To be fair to the OP. If you read BOL (Bama's 247 site), Kirby may as well be related to Bin Laden. The consensus on there is pure hate for Kirby.

You good UGA folks need to give Jeremy Pruitt a little credit for shaking all the trees in his short stay in Athens. JP brought attention to the fact football wasn't life or death to many in your AD department. I do believe JP is a better DC than Kirby but both are elite. You know it is OK to give the other fellas credit for doing great work.

Hard for UA to be jealous. LOL! But nobody likes to be challenged like Kirby and Georgia are doing and are capable of doing. But I guess the best answer is the same reasons UGA and all others in the SEC dislike (hate is too strong) the success Bama has had down through the years. Competition.
Krby is a tremendous and relentless young football coach. Much like Pruitt and Muschamp. A perfect for for Georgia where the alums have united behind him and won't let a player he really wants get away for the most part. Plus even the state and other officials have changed laws, rules and so forth for him. Right guy, right school, and a state and alums desperate for winning. And more talent per capita (biggest black pop in America) than any state in the union with no in state comp. Hell he oughta be killing it.

Why do Bama fans hate the success that Kirby is having?

I don’t. I kinda like Kirby and Georgia but you have to talk smack when you are about to play for the SECCG, and a final 4 bid. I’ve been trying to come up with something witty and cutting but I can’t really think of anything. Shoulder pad guys? We have some of those. Blackout? That’s ancient history.
I guess I’m just going to enjoy the game with no real animosity. I’ll be nervous but I’ll be fine either way.

I don’t hate Kirby, nor the near success he’s had at Georgia.
I remember Kirby running around the field, jumping on players and celebrating the 2012 SECCG defeat of UGA. That was pretty cool.

It makes no sense. They’re the last fan base that should be jealous.
What kind of stupid shite is this?

I mean, the BOL ppl are extreme homers who care way too much about recruiting. They hate just about everybody. Not a good representation of the fanbase.
And the thread OP linked to justify this thread was obviously a trolling response thread to this one: LINK / which was started shortly before it.
There was a lot of fun trolling going on sunday afternoon when those threads first dropped as we play each other this week, maybe you’ve heard.
I don’t know any Bama fans that spend much time hating Georgia or Kirby. Pretty far down our hate list. Now, I know a few Georgia fans that are ate up with it but we Bama fans are used to that as our team is the GOAT.
Weird thread.

Please tell me what I should be jealous of?
Nothing I can think of.

It’s like the dominant male Lion who raised his first born son to be just like him. Teach him everything he knows to be the best, to feed and protect the Pride. Now the young lion has grown up moved to the immediate territory to the East and is a threat to kill you in time.
I don’t hate Kirby at all. I think talking to some players on the Bama team and getting one to transfer and some of his negative recruiting tactics against Saban are kind of a shitty thing to do but it’s a dog eat dog world. I guess some Bama fans feel a threat but I’m good with what he has accomplished as are MOST that I know. I few hate him.

The dude stayed and coached Bama through the playoffs and National championship. Have some freakin respect......I know it’s hard with entitlement syndrome.
