Why do Auburn fans constantly need acceptance?

I've never seen a fan base so consumed with why some people may not like their coach.
Do Alabama fans care if you like Saban? No, they could give two rips.
Do LSU fans care if you like Miles? No, he is their retard and could care less if you like his antics or not.
Do aTm fans care if you like Sumlin and the fact he hasn't won any championships? No, he is their $5 mil piece of arse and could give a shite what you think.
Do Ole Miss fans care if you like Freeze? He'll no! He is their high school coach that's taking them to the promised land.
So I ask, why do Auburn fans feel the need to have approval from certain fan bases about Malzahn? Is it insecurity?
Is it the feeling they need to fit in?
Is it the nerd in school who wants to be cool and wants to be liked?
Or is it more of the insecure girl in school who is by all means cute, but is so insecure she turns into a slut because it makes her feel better?
Any ideas?

You will get your turn at the beginning of next season. We are too busy with preparations of a BCS National Championship Game.

Not offseason for everyone. Please be respectful of those teams that are bowl bound.
Thanks,
Thanks,

I agree that Auburn folks are some of the most insecure fans in the SEC...
...I had a point, but I forgot it.

I am just wondering, man.

Keep in mind that Auburn will always be overshadowed by Bama. Sucks to be second fiddle in your own state but maybe that has something to do with it.
What I can't understand is why is everyone so high on Auburn and Malzahn now? They deserve credit for playing tough down the stretch but they didn't dominate their schedule by any stretch and they needed a miracle or 2 to get where they are.
Malzahn may very well end up being a good HC but he has no track record at this level yet to judge him by. Let the man string together a few seasons with continued success before anointing him the next big thing.

TAMU fans are just as insecure as Auburn fans. Little brother syndrome

Why are you so concerned of it? Arkansas has the most problems of any football team other than Kentucky and you're worried about Auburn.

Statistically, at this point in his career, Malzahn is nowhere as good as Terry Bowden. You can't base Malzahn's effectiveness on record alone.
If you base it on game action, he's had a superb year. Magical season. But Auburn has also won several games in the last few seconds. These things generally have a way of evening out over time.
Personally, I think he brings a lot to the table. I respect his ability and frankly hate that Auburn has him. But I think it is quite a fair point to believe that Malzahn needs to have a little deeper resume before anointing him as a great head coach.
