The crown of his helmet hits directly with the face mask. That's another great thing about the new helmets-- you don't have to guess anymore-- they have that cut out strip along the center line of the crown that depresses.
Seriously, why are you guys fighting this one, every team gets bad calls, this just happened to be super blatant and look really bad because a less egregious hit resulted in an ejection 5 minutes later.

It's ok man you can say what you really think instead of being scared of these pus guys calling people out for telling it like it is. They deny everything and I've never seen any team have soooo many missed calls just saying. There IS absolutely bias for bama in the SEC and them calling me whinny isn't going to change that. I will call it like I see it me.

It was so much easier when you only had to pay off newspapers and radio stations. Only 30 or 40 thousand fans ever got to see how bad the cheating refs were. Now with HD we need an algorithm to blur out blatant Bama cheating.

You have to watch the replay very carefully:
The Alabama player does not lead with his head and clearly wraps up. As he gets up off of the ground, he places a stack of $100 bills on the turf. The official picks up the stack of money and no call is made.

I really hope LSU loses against Bama in two weeks on a controversial non-call like targeting or holding.

Here's a clue for you. Keep your eyes focused on the white stripe on top of his helmet. If it doesn't make first contact, he didn't lead with the crown.

Why does your school and the 12 other non-Bama SEC schools allow it to continue? 13 votes can easily do the following:
Replace the entire SEC staff
Move the SEC HQ out of Birmingham
Kick Bama out of the SEC

The no call targeting on hurts was more of a text book targeting and launching and that play resulted in 6 points.
