I am pretty sure Alabama has been talking a lot to Arkansas prep QB Darion Griswold.

Certainly is......I would say the most under the radar kid in the nation.

Problem lies with him not knowing what sport he wants to play.

He has been getting a lot of love from Kansas State, Alabama, Miss State, & Arkansas lately for the football field.

I bet. He looks good on tape too, I sure a school will eventually come along and offer a chance at both...

That game was played the weekend AFTER he was awarded the Heisman.

So by the standards Auburn likes to use to mock some of Bama's National Championships (awarded before bowls were played), Sullivan isn't really a legitimate Heisman winner....?

Then why was Bama and Auburn not listed?

OK, poor word choice. I should have said "recruited by".

Actually, that's a fair argument. I think they shouldn't even hold the vote for the damn thing until after the season is over.

I remember my dad, the original Bitter Boog (API '52) saying the night Sully won the trophy, "I'm happy for him, but I really wish he hadn't won it. . .he hasn't earned it yet."

So we are all in agreement that Bench is a DA. I'm gonna dial up this thread everytime he decideds to comment on the QB position.

While Rivers is 6'6" he is only 200 pounds, he is going to have to gain a LOT of weight or one good sack will snap him like a twig.

We weren't planning on throwing him in FWIW. One Jarrett Lee is enough for a lifetime.

No different than McCarron was coming out of high school. I remember seeing him play his senior year thinking the exact same thing.

Because Jameis Winston may be the top QB in the 2012 class, and he's 45 minutes from campus.
