Why did Saban abandon the Kirby model?

He began hiring shite coordinators and tried to turn his offense into the Big 12 with midget QBs.

It's obvious Kirby took the old Bama model (including himself at DC) and applied it perfectly at UGA.

Nick will be lucky just getting to the SEC title game from now on while Kirby uses his 10 yr old blueprint and keeps kicking his arse.

Golding and O'Brien are still employed, right?

There's your answer. He doesn't care anymore.

Bama, 4 NC with Kirby on staff, only 2*(*covid year for one, limited competition) since he left.

Kirby was the real secret…

Dynasty

A dynasty is a long period of success, not 2 years. Georgia will need to win a 3rd national championship within the next 2/3 years before it will be considered a dynasty.

I'm sorry that deep down you feel inadequate to Alabama and that prevents you from enjoying the great accomplishment of going back to back.

Kirby made an extremely important decision in 2020. Rinsed his hands of James Coley and hired Todd Monken. The rest is history.
