There was a meeting. The meeting went well. They shook hands and said some combination of words that were positive.
Some a-hole that couldn't keep their mouth shut, told another a-hole that couldn't keep their mouth shut "really good meeting, hand shake and looking forward to next talks".
That a-hole said "handshake deal" to another a-hole. That a-hole said "we have a deal". 3-4 games of telephone later Hogville was saying "Kiffin has bought a house and will talk to the team tomorrow".
In reality, it was a good talk. Lane got a better offer. He took it. Arkansas didn't counter. There was no backstabbing, no hurt feelings. Just business.
I didn't want to interrupt Ruby's post because that was the "message board" interpretation of events. In reality it was all business.

Arkansas fans are clearly still butt hurt over Kiffin shitting all over the “Memorandum of Understanding” even going as far as claiming that Ole Miss doesn’t have hot women (which may be true if you’re a gay man).
Arkansas will be humbled over the next couple weeks. Gonna get blown out by Georgia and then Ole Miss will knock them out of the top 25. Love the Pitt boss at Arkansas. Cant recruit and Arky is only a threat because of Briles and Odom.

Why are we still arguing about this. Both teams got a coach that has them in the top 15 in their second year. If that hold remains to be seen but I would have laughed in everyone faces if you told me ark and ole miss would be ranked this high in year 2 of their new coaches.
