Because AU doesn't put them in the NFL

Actually under Gus Auburn has put the LT in the league twice and the RG two years ago and likely the LT this year. We also have a Center in the league. Not sure a ton of teams do significantly better than that over 5 or 6 years. However, the negative recruitment about Gus' blocking schemes worked to inhibit our ability to recruit OL. The results speak for themselves.

True, but those same players have beaten Bama’s 5 stars 2 out of the last 3 years. How the frick do you explain that? CF is a wacky sport.

Easy, massive injuries for Bama in 17 and 19. Bama had 7 starters out of the game this year.

Bama was riddled with injuries in both those games. If you were looking for an actual response

Auburn is where OL go when they have no shot at the NFL. Same with LB

Melt. 48-45.

Sounds unfair.

Bama fans are consistent with their excuses.

Maybe I am reading this wrong, but we didn't have a lot of injuries against Auburn in 2017, and never used that as an excuse in 2017. Auburn was ready and we played poorly.

Auburn did use injuries as an excuse verses Georgia in the SECCG in 2017.

Its amazing to me that Bammers have been crying about the injuries but I dont seem to remember the aknowledgment that 2015 and 2016 Bama struggled to beat AU teams that were missing starting QBs and fielded Jeremy Johnson, John Franklin, Chandler Cox and Tucker Tuberville.

Injuries are part of the game. Adapt and overcome.

That is like blaming the cops for your DUI.

15 and 16 were double digit Bama wins. 29-13 and 30-12. No touchdowns for Auburn in 16 and a fluke TD in 15.

Bama pretty much had control thoughout those games

When you are thin at a particular position the JUCO route can be a reasonable option. At least you are getting 20 year old or so kids instead of guys fresh out of high school. That can make a difference as long as their talent level is at least serviceable
