AJ didn't slide. Anyone thinking he would get drafted earlier is foolish.
I don't get how Bama fans watch their defense win so many games and then think they also have a great QB.

Dunno. The last couple years, their offense won as many as their defense. 2012 and 2013 were not even close to 2011 defense.

2014 though...all defense all day.

Fifth round was about right for AJ. What's this slide talk? Good for him and good luck to him.
Mett slid, but he was probably fifth round too, so not as much as some LSU fans think.

Over half the guys selected in the 1st round are tatted up
Different standard for white guys, especially at QB. And even more especially tattoos like that. Gm's are trained to look past all the coached up bullshite and see the douche within

Panthers ignored that but Richardson is going to panther.

Consider the pattern: Of the 27 veteran quarterbacks who will head to training camp with solid locks on their starting jobs, 18 were first-round picks, three entered the league as second-rounders, four were third-round picks. Brady and Romo are the others.

...Uncle Si is railing Katherine Webb and teams were afraid of the bad publicity when the scandal breaks publicly and AJ melts down.

He has a winning record against every team in the SEC that he played against except A&M 1-1 and if he makes a better throw from the two yard line Bama probably wins that game too.
Of course the other teams in the SEC hate him. Look I don't think he's gonna be Joe Namath but Andy Dalton really sucks under pressure and has no arm strength. AJ will get a chance to be the QB and even though I don't expect him to be great, he can still be a good QB.
He's got AJ Green to throw to FFS.
The butthurt about AJ lately has been absolutely pathetic.

Not sure what his problem is but got pissed off at Phil Savage who said he was a 4th or 5th round pick and wouldn't go to Senior bowl in his home town in retaliation. This sent a huge message, and the scouts ask around Mobile a lot about him then and didn't really glowing comments. (Mixed at best)
In the end, he was a 5th round pick just like Savage said.

Was AJ ever even the 5th best player on his team? The reason Bama was winning games with him was their other players. If AJ played on a team with no-defense, nobody would know his name.
