It neighbors Illinois and some how that damn goat and ita curse rubbed off on mizzou athletics. Its not a new thing its an every sport, every year thing.
Elite 8 vs OU years ago....Clarence Gilbert had his worse game ever shooting the ball and nobody we had could make a FT in that game. Fast forward a few years, crush a lot of people's favorite in Memphis and coach Cal only to face Uconn where Kemba Walker and Thabeet had to exist in that timeline.
Vs Auburn in the CCG and we just had to run a 3 man front for some reason all game vs a run heavy offense.
Guarantee we with our edge players and rotation back then wouldn't have let Famous Jameis and free shoes do a comeback on us.
Its called being mizzou'd and its 100% real.
Look at last game. Physically dominate vandy make Pavia look like New Mexico State is too good for him and we still find a way to lose

We are getting there. Just need a QB to stay healthy.
Hopefully QB Z is the man moving forward. He showed a lot of promise at the end of that Vandy game.

Because the Big 6 (soon to be the Big 8) runs the conference. When you're going up against half of the Top 15 (and arguably, half of the Top 25) best programs in the sport on an annual basis, you're not 'breaking' through as a program.

QB is the most important position in all of sports. Drink hasn't gotten that position dialed in.
