My opinion about choosing between consistency vs a whole bunch of losses mixed with in with isolated flukes has no bearing on what happens on a field. You are using your Typical "I am from the Atlanta area but am a Uga reject" logic again.
Your definition of fluke, is why your post has zero credibility. Just a lot of butthurt.

Even if you did claim those, Bama has you beat only counting from 1990 on... Heck, in 7 years Bama has amassed twice as many NC's as auburn has in 159+ years...
Do you think it's news to me that bama has a better football tradition than Auburn? The post you responded to was also pretty obviously tongue in cheek.

They do well for sure but not as good as Auburn and they fight So Car while we fight Alabama. They also don't play in the SEC.
Those are true, for sure but the other side of the coin is that they're in South Carolina, in the ACC (which doesn't help recruiting) and UGA with the SEC draw is literally only an hour away. They've got as big or bigger a recruiting challenge than AU.
Just in case you missed it, I'm not downing Auburn at all. My position is just the opposite. I think you're very well positioned to be a football powerhouse. Since I'm an Alabama fan, clearly I hope you never put it all together but you've got all the parts.

Haha was coming to post the game thing.
So to answer the OP question apparently our problem is simply that our coach didn't really want to win before. Now that he does maintaining success should be no problem.

Wrong. Just good OL fashioned objective analysis of Cfb instead. Do you really not understand what a fluke is? When you typically lose 5+ games, any elite season in between is a fluke.

Auburn's two best seasons of the last decade were pretty flukey.
In 2010 you got a 1-and-done Juco transfer QB who was almost ruled ineligible before single-handedly winning a national title for a retarded coach who was fired soon thereafter.
In 2013 you were probably the 4th best team in the SEC, but played for a national title because you bounced a ball off a defender's facemask for a 50+ yard touchdown at the end of one game, and returned a field goal with no time left in another.

Through Crimson colored glasses.
2010- Great Freshman RB, 4 Sr OL, Speed at the WRs and Hback position. Defense had SR leadership and the best Defensive player in College Football. Not a one man show.
2013- Good OL,very good RB and speed and depth at WR (4WRs made NFL Rosters). Only thing missing was a QB. They found him.
20 point lead over UGA in the fourth.
Bama had to try a 57 harder, because he knew his team was gassed.
Sorry, it wasn't a fluke.

NF was dominant that year. Ask UGA fans.

Never said he wasn't, he was a great player but wasn't the best that year.

Maybe if purely looking at the defensive unit

Combine that will the best player in College Football, success was not a fluke.
