He wouldn't even admit the other day that UGA underachieved in 2008 despite 15/22 of their starters getting drafted.

Nice try. We are still waiting for you to prove that point by going into more detail like who was drafted, when they were drafted, and how high they were drafted. Those are all important details that are necessary for you to prove the point you were trying to make. Refusing to do so gives off an impression of lack of faith in your own point.

What do you call it when lightening hits three times (2004,2010,2013) in 10 years ? If a man gets hit that many times in a short period, I bet he doesn't think it is random or flukish.

2004 was legit and without fluke, so no lightning there, and that was from a different era from our 08-15 discussion, thus an irrelevant one.

Another nice try, but the burden of proof lies on you. You must be afraid of the flaws of your point.

It shouldnt be hard for you to understand how dumb your point was concerning UGA 2013-15. Do I need to spell it out for you?

When one of the resident nuts (such as yourself) calls another person crazy, reasonable people ignore it.

But of course, you pay attention to it.

Acknowledging the thoughts of a crazy person doesnt validate them.

The only part of Auburn's last 7 years that is strange is the 3-9 debacle in 2012. Everything else makes sense. Again, if 3-9 had been 7-5, would we be having this discussion? It'd be a program, like a lot of others, that has peaks and valleys.

We would. Peaks of this nature in the land of 5+ loss alleys are strange.

Since 2000(this century), how many seasons has AU had with 5 or more loses? How many seasons with less than 5 loses? I will let your own words hang you? My guess you will ignore this question.

Why would I ignore it?

- From 2000-2007, AU had two 5+ loss season and 6 with less than 5 losses.

- From 2008-2015, AU had six 5+ loss seasons and 2 with less than 5 losses.

From one eight year period to another, do you notice the stark contrast in quality of the AU program? Looks like you hung yourself with your request.

So your claims about AU being a consistent 5 loses teams doesn't hold any statistical definition. Thank you for proving my point.

The second eight year preriod produced a NC and another NC Appearance, with 2 SEC Championships. What did UGA do during that time?

What those facts prove is that AU was easily a better program from 2000-07 than it was from 2008-2015, which is NOT the point you wanted to prove. For you to think your point has been proven is only more evidence of delusion.

You're selling your program very, very short. Auburn's a great town and school. These 'natural advantages' you're using are nothing more than a crutch.

This is a fair statement. We are our own worst enemy sometimes. Auburn is a wonderful place that sells itself and our championship seasons are evidence of that we can compete athletically at the highest level, but it takes leadership to bring consistency. I like where we are heading academically because we have a strong president, but we need that same leadership out of our AD. He's a hayseed.
