It's pretty fricking pathetic that we can't sell out a 55,000 seat stadium in Central Arkansas

But seriously, after having been to both Fayetteville and Little Rock and seeing both stadiums, if I were an Arkansas fan I'd be begging for the Little Rock "tradition" to end.

Just like LSU playing in Shreveport, Alabama playing in Birmingham, and Ole Miss/MSU playing in Jackson, it's probably time to shut that "tradition" down.

I know NWA supports the team, I see them in the stands every week. LR can't fill a smaller stadium with a "just as passionate" base to draw from. That's my measure.

This is the problem. True fans don't go to see the opponent, they go to see their team play. Doesn't matter if its ULM or say Jacksonville State...

I'd be all for LR having a game a year off our home schedule, then we could find a ULM like deal with schools such as Memphis, SEMO, stAte, LaTech, Jackson St., Middle TN St., Ole Miss, etc.

No argument here. It's rather pathetic.

However, we get to count this as an away game, right?

I know I'm stating the obvious here, but Little Rock isn't all that far from Fayetnam and its all interstate now. What's wrong with the NWA fans getting down to LR?

My wife owning a restaurant in Little Rock...I rather enjoy the games here due to the economic benefit to me and my family.

But 6:00 games kill our business

in the final year of our ULM contract.

Unless they can find another "buy the attendance" game, it's time for ULM to take it's place at the FCS table.

If we are going to play a rent-a-win we might as well sell as many tickets as possible and LR has shown that is asking too much

I go to games at both places and enjoy them both. I can't make every game in Fayetteville, but i'd like to. I'm in the camp of only having 1 game in LR and making it a service academy to honor the "stadium namesake", or maybe play LaTech there every year. The rest of the games need to be on campus, especially with us having a game in Jerry world. I do think the opponent plays a role in lack of ticket sales, but it shouldn't. I also think that very few NWA fans travel down to the LR games. Lots of students do though. We need to make a better push of selling all home games out, NWA and LR included. WPS!!
