aTm shouldn't be happy. Murray would have been a good change of pace QB. But, a midget with an average at best arm ain't cut out for SEC play.

What you are seeing is a combination of buyer's remorse and limited media coverage.

Media coverage...
A&M fans only get news from Texags radio. Kevin Sumlin has a policy of not allowing freshman to interview. A&M fans don't know who Murray is or isn't, so they rely on that one news source.

Buyer's remorse...
Murray also fell out of favor with most A&M fans during the recruiting saga last year. Sumlin and Spavital wanted both Jarrett Stidham and Kyler Murray. That would have been 3 5-star recruits on campus. Murray's family said that he would commit only if he was the only QB taken. He committed and A&M passed on Stidham (now at Baylor). To top it off, Murray decided to decommit down the stretch and caused a ton of additional drama which caused us to lose out on a few other top recruits.

Wait...what?

Anyone who only gets their news from Texags radio deserves to get ripped off Madoff-style.

Only an Arkytard would use the term "change of pace quarterback".
