Trent Richardson was one of the top 5 biggest busts ever, Derrick Henry is slow, Julio is a choker, Reuben Foster can’t stay off the weed, and countless other examples.

Is it the system? Or the abundance of talent around them making them look better than they are? Does Saban burn them out?

They work harder at Bama than in the NFL because Saban demands it.

Cuz they don't go winless in the conference.

You can only hope that Tennessee has this "problem" one day even though we have ballers in the league.

I know for a fact that you yourself would be happy with the same if it meant your program was winning championships.

But, nice Jealousy and Fake-Concern melt anyways.

Agreed. And that begs the question ... Why don't all other teams demand it as well?

You get what you expect and demand out of life. But wth, keep blaming the Refs, the REC and everyone else when things don't go your way.

Because they have a lot of players that get drafted. More Bama players have a chance to be an nfl bust

They win at Bama or their charger is repo'd, their parents lose the new 80k job they have and their house is foreclosed on. In the NFL they've already been paid and money is theirs.

I think it's a combination of things;

the system is one. Saban is a hardass that doesn't tolerate slacking, and he has the hardware to back it up. Bama doesn't lose to a Troy because they weren't interested in getting ready for a Sun Belt team.

The overwhelming amount of talent. If you do slack or fall off, there's 3 guys behind you with the same credentials just waiting to take your spot. Bama's 4th team is full of guys good enough to make an NFL practice squad.

This overall depth at every position makes individual guys look better than they are. Fresh backs running behind a fresh O Line that is the overall best, makes the backs look better than they are.

The System vs the NFL- no glamour allowed for Bama players. You don't get to be a diva under Saban in college. That's different in the NFL, with the big money contracts etc. You heard Landon Collins mention something to that effect, he's basically having more fun for the Giants, and doesn't want to go back to a Saban-style team because he pushed them so hard. He's stating he's unwilling to do the work necessary to become/remain elite now, this is his 'reward' time. Terrible attitude for a professional.

This is a stupid troll, but if Julio is your measure of a bust, then pretty much every player in the NFL is a bust.

So true. Cannot disagree.

But honestly, I don't really care what they do in the NFL. As far as I'm concerned that is their reward for their time at Bama.

Saban enables them once they get on campus.

Win at all costs. Literally. That's the Bammer motto.

The typical attitude of John Q Bammer. At least you're honest about it.
