That's true, but if the roles were reversed and it was LSU that got in at 12-1 over an undefeated FSU team, they would be cheering the committee for putting the best team in. Kinda hypocritical imo.

Its not even about FSU. They just said that going undefeated doesn't matter. Winning your conference doesn't matter. Recruiting rankings matter more apparently.
Imagine an 11-5 NFL team being kept out of the playoffs because their QB was hurt towards the end of the season. It wouldn't happen cuz they'd be sued out the arse. Its anti-competition. Its about ratings and $$$

When only four teams can make it to the NFL playoffs then maybe we can worry about that but they don't have that so the chances of that happening are slim to none. And speaking of the playoffs if the ACC commissioner didn't join that dumb arse alliance and vote against starting the 12 team playoffs early then FSU would be in so FSU have their dumb arse pussy arse commissioner to blame for all this in the end.

Liberty should be in. They are an undefeated conference champ. And just like FSU, they have a win over a mid-tier SEC west team via beating New Mexico State twice.

They didn't just say it. Going undefeated has never mattered. Not in the BCS era, and not in the playoff era. There have been plenty of national champs from both eras that had a loss on their record. Including a 2, count them, 2 loss LSU team in 2007.
And Bama did win their conference.
So both of your criteria that "should matter" don't apply.
Still can't understand why every tinfoil hat wearing coonarse seems to forget Bama just beat the number 1 team in the country this past weekend as if that doesn't matter.

I'm totally a tinfoil hat wearing coonass for saying the undefeated P5 team should be in over a 1 loss (at home by 10) team.
Bama is a very good team. One of the best in the country. But they had their chance to go undefeated. They didn't. When you have 3 undefeated teams and one team that won H2H, Bama should be SOL.
